VisualRep is integrated with the VPME 9 and also the VPME 9

VisualRep is integrated with the VPME 9 and also the VPME 9.1 and reads its data dictionary from either version without the need to do any setup. VisualRep will sense each version and will set itself automatically to the right one. If you look at the Query Wizard Step 5 – Field properties page, the Foreign Key which is recognized by VisualRep out of the VPME 9.0 data dictionary and is highlighted in Green. See the below image to get the idea.

Step 1:

Click the Create lookup parameter button and that will create a parameter by the name of the Field Description as entered in the Visual ProMatrix data dictionary.

Step 2:

Inspect the parameter that was created for you in the parameter maintenance form. You may change some of the default setting in the Basic Info page as shown in Figure B below. The description is created for you as well so it will be easier to know where this parameter came from.

The below is a pick list automatically created out of the Visual ProMatrix 9.0 data dictionary, while data source could be either a view or a table.

Step 2:

 

You can have an option to Show All Records as shown in figure D below. So instead of one class such as: 2006 you will see all records for all classes.
