| Creating your own pick list |
Step 1:
This feature will provide you the capability to create your own pick within VisualRep without writing any line of code.
VisualRep will store the pick list definitions in its own data dictionary. It is all data driven.
Select the below option named: Selecting value from pick list to enable the picklist tab.

Step 2:
Click the Pick List tab. The figure B below is shown up.

The primary key header description for the pick list column. |

The actual description header column. |

The value for the primary key for the pick list selection. If you have a Building name Larking then the Value for that building could be: Lar |

The building name is the description as Larkin, Keating Hall etc.. |

Include the Value Header column in picklist. |
That is an option whether you want to see the 2 columns in the pick list or just the description column only. |

Will save all parameter’s info. |
Step 3:
Enter the value needed for your lookup. When this parameter is selected in the query parameter the
list entered below will show in the parameters form. You can add as many records as needed.

Step 4:
Select the parameter into the query filter and all is automated for you. When you run the report or query the
below is combo box is filled with the list created above.
